  • Fulfill creative tasks that are direct requests from both the Chairman and CMO
  • Support the VP of On-Air Promos and Interstitials, WWE Network by acting as the creative lead for the team of writers, producers, senior producers, and editors.
  • Guide WWE Network on-air creative (promos and interstitials) from concept, to script, to production – ensuring the content is on-brand and engaging.
  • Help develop the greater strategy behind the creative for promos and interstitials. This includes initiating brainstorms and leading the discussion of potential concepts with the team.
  • Write scripts for interstitial, promo, and advertising content, and review all scripts written by the team of producers and copywriters.
  • Act as a mentor to the junior copywriter, offering constructive feedback on style and voice while being an instrumental part in his continued learning and career growth.
  • Instruct producers on the specifics of speaking for this brand and to this audience. Review promo and interstitial spots from the team of producers, and sit in on edit sessions to guide the creative in real time.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to develop schedules, make sure projects are being delivered in a timely fashion, and assist in assigning team members to projects by knowing their varied skill sets and utilizing them in a way that is most beneficial to both the individual and the department.
  • Responsible for making sure all creative has been vetted and approved for meeting our corporate and creative standards before reaching the department VP.
  • Create concepts and copy for print ads, affiliate marketing, merchandise, corporate materials, and community service initiatives.
  • Participate in brainstorm requests and produce creative for high-level projects ranging from programming titles, brand initiatives, and more.
  • Contribute ideas for on-air promotions, storylines, and talent development.
